Remember back in late April when Ammon told y’all Darren Lynn Bousman was reteaming with his MOTHER’S DAY scribe Scott Milam for a hyper-gory horror outing called NINETY? Well, we’ve got some fresh dope on the joint for y’all to pull on…

In an article over at CHUD, it seems a few nuggets about the flick’s script have been unearthed. First, a lengthier rundown:

90 kills in a 90 minute movie. It’s not real time, but the kills will still be coming fast and furious. The killer is a man who was wrongfully convicted and spent time in jail; when he gets out he decides to get revenge on the hot shit detective who put him in the slammer by killing one person for each of the detective’s convictions.

Sounds pretty savage, ay? Definitely our kind of flick here at Arrow in the mothaf*ckin’ Head.

It was also revealed in the article that the flick will most likely be shot in 3D, but that’s kind of a given these days, isn’t it? More interesting to me, as a longtime fan of tallying a body count during a flick…is the way the assailant in the film will help us out. Surely 90’s too much to count on our own, so it’s said our baddie will at some point acquire a head clicker (a bouncer’s tool to keep a head count) and chalk up his own kills. I love that shite!

Bousman is currently putting the final touches on MOTHER’S DAY, which has yet to lock a release date. Hopefully he knocks that out quick style so he can start getting to work on NINETY!
