Looks like we just netted the initial trailer for Nathan and Philip Ellering’s twisted horrific thriller LOST WOODS, a flick we hadn’t heard of until right about now. If back wooded terror happens to be your flavor-of-funk, by all means, check out the first footage below!

Coming at us this October, LOST WOODS goes like this:

Darrin Noland leads a deliberate and careful life, but when his old friends spring a camping trip on him it’s a good time he can’t run from. The escape turns south when Darrin finds out the unsettling news that Warren, someone he has avoided since junior high, is also along for the ride. Darrin attempts to avoid an awkward reunion but horrible events cause him to face his regretful past and face his beast within.

Beast within, huh? After looking at this trailer twice, I’m still not sure if it’s a weird revenge tale, an out and out creature feature, or what. All I know is a some ape-like bastard is running around with illest of intentions.
