Elisabeth Shue has just finished taking on killer fish in PIRANHA 3D, and now she’s heading back to her neighborhood to take on a teenage psycho in THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET.

The film, from relative newbie director Mark Tonderai, centers on a teen girl (Jennifer Lawrence) who moves with her mom (Shue) to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre’s sole surviving son (Max Thieriot).

House is supposedly to PSYCHO what DISTURBIA was to REAR WINDOW. Which means I’ll be barfing as opposed to merely cringing.

Jonathan Mostow (SURROGATES) hatched the story; David Louka (the upcoming Daniel Craig thriller DREAM HOUSE) wrote the screenplay. Production begins next month in Ottowa.
