Either the sun has bleached my brain to the point of hallucination, or for whatever reason we took down a new international trailer for Joe Dante’s THE HOLE 3D earlier today. If the latter’s true, worry not…The Dee man’s here to the rescue. You see, we’ve not only uploaded the aforementioned trailer into our nifty player below, we also scored a Spanish one-sheet for the kiddy horror flick. Dee. To. The. Rescue!

Now, what struck me as particularly odd in our story earlier was the notion that flick is now being called THE HOLE IN 3D, which makes the film sound even more like a porno than before. Not sure that’s the best tag for a PG-13 joint, know what I’m sayin’?!?

From director Joe Dante comes a family-friendly, 3D thriller that explores the fears and secrets buried in the minds of children. After moving into a new neighborhood, brothers Dane & Lucas and their neighbor Julie discover a bottomless hole in the basement of their home. They find that once the hole is exposed, evil is unleashed. With strange shadows lurking around every corner and nightmares coming to life, they are forced to come face to face with their darkest fears to put an end to the mystery of THE HOLE.

Haley Bennett, Teri Polo, Bruce Dern, Chris Massoglia, Nathan Gamble and Quinn Lord all play a role.

Now the real question? Will THE HOLE IN 3D get theatrical release or go direct-to-disc? Stay tuned to find out.
