Mirrors 2 trailer, plus DVD/Blu-ray details

The trailer for Victor Garcia’s MIRRORS 2 has finally been unleashed, thanks to those kooks at Dread Central; you can watch it below thanks to the magic of embedding. My opinion: It looks just like MIRRORS, but perhaps with even more mirrors! (Be warned though, the trailer gives away a bunch of deaths, so if you’re super psyched about the flick, you may want to avoid it.)

MIRRORS 2 is heading to DVD and Blu-ray on OCTOBER 19th; so what exactly will be featured? Fangoria revealed the deets:

• “Keeping it Real: The Visual and Special Effects of MIRRORS 2” featurette

• Deleted scenes

The Blu-ray (packaged in a Combo Pack with the DVD) will include all these plus a special “Picture in Picture: Watch MIRRORS 2 with the Woman in the Mirror” feature. And perhaps the most special feature is the entire original Korean film INTO THE MIRROR, which inspired the Aja movie – I think it’s safe to say that 20th Century Fox is not f*cking around with this one…

Here’s the official synopsis: When Max, a recovering addict, takes a job as a night time security guard job at his father’s department store, he begins to see visions of a young woman in the store’s mirrors. Unsure whether his visions are side effects of his prescription sleeping pills or actual reality, he begins to look deeper into the source of the images in the mirrors. When employees of the store turn up dead and Max is a suspect in the murders, he must expose the girl’s connection to a scandal within the department store’s walls in order to prove his innocence and put a stop to the spirits in the mirrors.

MIRRORS 2 stars Nick Stahl, Jon Michael Davis, Lawrence Turner, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Christy Carlson Romano and William Katt.
