Varying little from the one or two we saw prior, it seems Sony Screen Gems has just unrolled a fresh one-sheet for Paul W.S. Anderson’s RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE. I personally don’t mind the similarities, because any opportunity I get to make eyes at Milla Jovovich…I’m jumpin’ all over that shite!

If forced to spell out the differences, the most notable would be the blue background and shards of busted glass in the new look, as opposed to Milla simply brandishing a weapon in the rain. Hence, this new one has more of a 3D feel, what with the glass jutting forward at us. Other than that, the image of Milla’s pose is all but identical.

Plaguing theaters September 10th, AFTERLIFE is set:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead – and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, Sienna Guillory, Shawn Roberts, Spencer Locke, Kim Coates, Boris Kodjoe, Kacey Barnfield, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Norman Yeung also take part in the movie.
