It’s always thrilling to receive a press release for a new film we’ve yet to hear about…but when the flick is A). Called THE VICTIM and B). Stars genre vet Michael Biehn (right) and and the lovely Danielle Harris (below)…well my friends, in the immortal words of Ice Cube…today was a good day!

So what the hell is THE VICTIM all about? Let’s get to the bottom of this sucker…

Directed by Brock Morse, from a script by Reed Lackey – THE VICTIM finds:

ANNIE’S (Jennifer Blanc) life in jeopardy after she’s witnessed the horrific rape and murder of her closest friend. Fleeing from two ATTACKERS (Ryan Honey, Denny Kirkwood) she stumbles across KYLE (Michael Biehn), a recluse living in the middle of the woods. KYLE finds the stillness of the woods comforting. The ruggedly handsome loner stays far from civilization – that is – until a single knock on his door throws his solitary life into chaos. Two worlds collide in this psychological thriller that will make you question your trust in mankind. WHO IS THE VICTIM?

Sounds cryptic enough to warrant some interest. My guess is Biehn may have some ties with the two initial attackers…but I’ve been wrong many times prior. What do you think?
