Lin Shaye gives gory cooking tips in new clip from 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams!

What’s not to love about the great Lin Shaye? Seriously, here’s a woman who’s championed our beloved genre for nearly 30 years (starting with Jack Sholder’s great ALONE IN THE DARK, co-written by Lin’s brother Bob). More than 100 credits later, Mrs. Shaye has done work in the original A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, CRITTERS, THE HIDDEN and of course Tim sullivan’s 2001 MANIACS ( I could go on and on). And now that Sullivan’s follow up flick 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS is set to hit DVD on July 20th, Shaye’s Granny Boone is serving up some culinary grotesqueries. Check it…

In a new clip from Horror.break.com, watch Granny Boone go bat-shite ballistic with a large meat cleaver. She seems to be filming a promo spot for her recipes, but the camera crew are treated to a little more than gastronomic delight.

Also starring Bill Moseley, Christa Campbell (below), Nivek Ogre, Andrea Leon, Ahmed Best, Katy Marie Johnson, Asa Hope, Alex Luria, Larayia Gaston, Miles Dougal, Trevor Wright and Alana Curry – FIELD OF SCREAMS gears up:

When this year’s round of unsuspecting Northerners fail to show up for their annual Guts N’ Glory Jamboree, the residents of Pleasant Valley take their cannibalistic carnival on the road and head to Iowa where they encounter spoiled heiresses Rome & Tina Sheraton and the cast and crew of their “Road Rascals” reality show. Performing “The Bloodiest Show on Earth”, our Southern Maniacs prove more than ratings killers in what John Landis has called “one of the rare sequels that surpasses the original.
