Remember when we were treated to those cool character intros for Nimrod Antal’s PREDATORS? You know, the ones that got us acquainted with Brody’s Royce, Braga’s Isabelle, Fishburne’s Noland, Topher’s Edwin and Trejo’s Cuchillo? Well, looks like Robert Rodriguez and company either forgot one, or all along planned on saving the best for last. Either way, the time has come to meet Louis Ozawa Changchien’s badass samurai character Hanzo!
I feel it best to refrain from any description of the clip, we’re only a week away from the film blasting theaters, so there’s no real need anyway is there? All just say this, it’s pretty clear Hanzo is bringing s deadly silence to the proceedings the original film may have lacked (although Billy was quite pensive, wasn’t he). Could be a damn good addition!
PREDATORS follows Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who’ve come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet…as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systematically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
