THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE hits theaters in 6 days, yet there have been lines forming as early as Monday this week outside theaters in L.A. to be the first to see it upon its big Hollywood premiere (tonight). Normally this kind of crazy fan hysteria is set aside for STAR WARS freaks, but not this time. Nope, it’s the fan girls who are being freaky with their fan-ness!

And if you head THIS WAY you can see the craziness with your own eyes, showing the camp outside the Nokia Theater, which is hosting the film’s premiere tonight, which promises the presence of Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart Stewart (among others) .
Least to say, this shit is crazy and out of control, and with studios expecting the total six-day opening take to be close to, if not above, $200M, it should have most people scratching their heads in wonder. All this for what? Some vamps and wolves fighting over some emo chick? Seriously?
But you know what… it’s kind of fun to sit back and watch the madness, as the closer we get to the release of each film, the closer we are to never hearing about them ever again. ECLIPSE hits theaters everywhere June 30, 2010.
