Rodar y Rodar, the producers behind THE ORPHANAGE (pictured above) and the upcoming SCARS are bringing us a new batch of specters in EL HOMBRE HUECO (THE HOLLOW MAN), which will be written and directed by Guillem Morales and Oriol Paolo, who worked on the thriller JULIA’S EYES, also produced by Rodar y Rodar. It has an estimated budget of $7 million USD.

The plot concerns a professor who tries to solve a series of murders in a small town and winds up raising the local spirits. The plan is to shoot in either 2011 or 2012, so obviously this one’s a bit off. Still, can’t hurt to get excited for some creepy spooks from this team, which is making a name for itself in the world of Spanish horror.
