To help pimp the release of Vincenzo Natali’s f*cked up creature feature SPLICE this Friday (June 4th), Yahoo! Movies has just debuted a new trailer for the flick exclusively made for the internet. You won’t find the it in theaters, on TV, not some fancy Blu-ray you just copped, anywhere but on these damn interwebs…so take advantage of that shite while you can!

Not that there’s a ton of new footage we haven’t seen in prior trailers and clips mind you, but it doesn’t matter. I don’t care how many times you see Sarah Polley jam her hand in that makeshift fetus (sound FX does it), that shite is raw!

From a script by Natali, Doug Taylor and Antoinette Terry Bryant, SPLICE tells the cautionary tale of:

Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists, who defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named “Dren”, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.

Read reviews of the flick by our very own Arrow and Eric W. Also, be sure to peep our interview with director Vincenzo Natali, as well as take part in our cool SPLICE schwag give away contest.

SPLICE mutates into theaters June 4th.

The original Dren, SPECIES star Natasha Henstridge!
