Promo art for Vanishing on 7th Street is a real scream

The first stills from Brad Anderson’s VANISHING ON 7th STREET popped up online (check ’em out HERE) a couple weeks ago, and now we’ve got a piece of promo art for ya, found on sales company IM Global’s site. It’s not much, but it’s… well, it’s not much. Naturally when the film comes out it will get a much more polished one-sheet to join it, but perhaps the tagline will be the same: “Fear Lives in the Dark”. I think vanishing into thin air is scary no matter what time of day, but perhaps that’s just me.

The film stars Hayden Christensen (ugh), Thandie Newton (below; hooray!) and John Leguizamo and documents what happens after a mysterious and seemingly global blackout causes countless populations to simply vanish, leaving only their clothes and possessions behind. A small handful of survivors band together in a dimly-lit tavern on 7th Street, struggling to combat the apocalyptic horror. Realizing they may in fact be the last people on earth, the darkness hones in on them alone.

We’ll let you know when VANISHING ON 7th STREET gets a firm release date. Hopefully it’s soon.
