Some crazy news out of the wild world of Breck Eisner’s THE CRAZIES, which is headed to DVD and Blu-ray in North America June 29th. What’s the news? The UK release date has been announced, including all-new package art that blows the domestic art out of the water!

THE CRAZIES will be hitting DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on July 19, 2010, with the following special features:

  • Audio Commentary by Director Breck Eisner
  • Behind the Scenes Featurette with Director Breck Eisner
  • Paranormal Pandemics Featurette
  • The George A. Romero Template Featurette
  • Make-Up Mastermind: Rob Hall in Action
  • Visual Effects in Motion Featurette
  • Behind the Scenes Photo Gallery
  • Storyboards and More
  • Episodes One to Four of The Crazies Motion Comic (Blu-ray Only)
  • All of those can be found on the North American release as well, so the biggest difference here is the kick-ass new cover art, featuring a little girl with a gas mask and an entire town up in flames, with helicopters and shit flying overhead. I love this cover. This cover beats the tar out of the bloody pitch-fork cover North American audiences get.

Scroll down for a full look at the cover art below, and get ready for THE CRAZIES in the UK July 19th! And if you feel the urge, go ahead and pre-order the US DVD HERE.
