Ever since learning in February that David Twohy and Vin Diesel are reuniting to give us a third RIDDICK film, we’ve been steadily hit with one cool update after another. Not only have we seen preliminary concept art for the flick, we’ve gotten early story details, amended synopses, Facebook updates from Diesel himself, even the official title of the film. Well, how’d y’all like to nab a peek at a 10 minute pitch video for RIDDICK: DEAD MAN STALKING?!?

So what the hell is in a pitch video, you may wonder. Pretty basic, really. What we have below is Diesel and Twohy giving a marketing presentation to potential buyers of the flick. They’re “pitching” concepts, themes, aesthetic creations…that kind of thing. It’s actually pretty cool to see even more preliminary artwork for the film. I also dig how Diesel is dressing the part for the presentation, right down to the pair of shades he’s rocking (in a dark room no less!)

Slated for a 2011 release, RIDDICK: DEAD MAN STALKING shapes up like so:

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Vin Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

No additional casting or production start dates are known as of yet.
