It’s something of a slow day so far (for now), so let’s perk things up a little with an update from those bastions of decency, the MPAA, shall we?
According to the ratings board, the Amber Heard and Odette Yustman-in-peril flick AND SOON THE DARKNESS deserves an R rating for some violence and brief torture. That works -just don’t disfigure either of them, ya hear?
Meanwhile, LOST BOYS: THE THIRST gets an R for strong bloody violence, sexuality/nudity, language and some drug content. Ain’t too shabby; let’s hope that translates into something watchable. Part 2 had an R rating and that didn’t save it from sucking monkey nuts.
Lastly, Fruit Chan’s spooky-looking DON’T LOOK UP also lands an R, for horror violence and gore. I’d expect no less from the man behind DUMPLINGS.
