Seems like we’ve been waiting forever, but A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET is actually almost here; just little more than a week away before we find out if Platinum Dunes has shit the bed again, or given us a remake we can enjoy. I’m checking it out in the middle of next week and will have a review ready to go the next day.
To get you further pumped – or alienate you even more – we’ve got a new batch of stills from the film. Obviously, you’ve got another good look at Mr. Krueger himself in the above photo. He’s lookin’ pretty solid, if you ask me. The voice? That remains to be heard in the context of the film, but it still sounds a bit off when I hear it in the ads.

re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of suburban teenagers share one
common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly
disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake,
they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape.
