Werewolves are still all the rage, folks. Hollywood will find every last werewolf story until there’s absolutely no more money to be made from them. Until then, we’ve got more wolfy goodness coming at us: Spoke Lane Entertainment and Mike the Pike Prods. have acquired film rights to George R.R. Martin’s werewolf novella THE SKIN TRADE.

Story takes off with a female private investigator on the trail of a serial killer linked to an underground werewolf clan ruling the remains of a vibrant city devastated by a recession.

The project will be produced by Mike the Pike’s CEO Mark B. Newbauer and co-founder Beth Newbauer in partnership with Ryan Colucci, president of Spoke Lane. No screenwriter or director has yet been attached.
