New still from A Nightmare on Elm Street has Nancy stuck in a dream

Just a week and a half until Samuel Bayer’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET slashes its way into theaters, and while I wasn’t quite on board this film until now, I’m getting more and more pumped up for it as we get closer to its release. Reasons for my growing excitement include an increased number of TV spots, and images like this, thanks to the boys at Bloody-D.

The new image features Nancy Thompson (Rooney Mara) stuck in the floor during a nightmare sequence with Freddy close on her tail. Could this be the updated version of Nancy trying to run up the stairs and having her feet get stuck along the way? Could be…or maybe it’s a new sequence altogether.
