Just yesterday we alerted you to words from the producers of THE THING prequel, indicating that indeed there will be Norwegians (potential sequel to Paul Thomas Anderson’s film?) present in the movie… Now ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that they’ve got the 411 on those particular Norwegians. Pretty good timing, that!

According to STYD, the flick will feature Dennis Storhøi, Trond Espen Seim, Jørgen Langhelle, Stig Henrik Hoff, Jan Gunnar Røise, Kristofer Hivju and Jo Adrian Haavind. I’m guessing none of these names are familiar to most of us; Dennis Storhøi (pictured) is apparently a big name in Norway, and may be familiar to you from his role in THE 13th WARRIOR.

I love that this is the direction the film is going in. They’re not populating it with lame North Americans subbing as Norwegians; they’ve got the real deal. Also dig that, allegedly, they will play their scenes in Norwegian, with English subtitles (according to the original L.A. Times article). Obviously, the filmmakers know that it’s the spectacle, not the actors, that will make this a memorable experience…

Dare we get our hopes up for THE THING?
