With the SXSW Film Festival a few weeks away, you can expect to begin hearing about some of the films that will have their debut, and subsequent hype, debut there. One such film is the low-budget sci-fi flick EARTHLING, which looks to be taking a page out of MOON‘s book. We’ve got the trailer for you below, which doesn’t reveal much about the plot at all and is more of a moody, dreamlike collage of the movie’s intriguing images.

Starring Rebecca Spence, Peter Greene, Jennifer Sipes, William Katt, Harry Goaz, and directed by Clay Liford, the unique indie breaks down like this (consider this a SPOILER ALERT): After a mysterious atmospheric event aboard the
International Space Station, a small group of people wake up
to realize that their entire lives have been a lie. They are in
fact aliens disguised as humans. Now they have to make a
choice. Live amongst men, or try to find a way back home.
