Seems like we get news of a fresh zombie film almost every week here at Arrow in the Head; it comes with the territory. Some looks good, some look… less than good. This one here looks sounds pretty good.

THE DEVIL’S CROSSING is a “zombie western”, which is instantly appealing. Directed by James Ryan Gary, the flick goes something like this: Celestial, AZ was once a flourishing town but after the nuclear war it has turned into a living hell. With a sheriff drug addict and prostitution as the main source of income, Celestial is practically helpless. Shadrach Babcock, a man with a new attitude out to destroy evil finds himself in a dilemma when all evil comes to destroy him. This classic battle between good and evil turns into all out zombie warfare. Devil’s Crossing presents a new type of zombie thriller that brings a post-apocalyptic setting to the Wild West.

So what can we expect from this film in terms of horror? According to the official site, we’ll get: Sudden decapitations. Innocents dying cruel deaths. Zombies being cut in half. Zombies being shot to pieces, Zombies being shot then exploding. Numerous scenes of unwarranted bloodshed.

And that’s just for starters! The flick is currently in the midst of re-shoots, and the crew hopes to have the film ready to screen by the summer. For more info, head on over to the Facebook fan page.
