IESB is reporting that Raimi is looking to direct THE SHADOW, a flick he was once set to produce-only (he’s been involved with it since 2006). If you’re not familiar with The Shadow, the character has a long history. Originally conceived as a radio drama in the 1930s, the vigilante with the ability to “cloud men’s minds” has appeared in multiple mediums since: comics, t.v., and even a forgettable movie starring Alec Baldwin in 1994.
