After disappearing for a few years, Stephen Norrington is back in business.

The director of BLADE and THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN (which effectively put him in “Director Jail”) has just lined up a new project, entitled THE LOST PATROL. While details are scarce, we know it takes place during WWII and features, as Norrington puts it, “insane monsters”.

Norrington: “The Lost Patrol’ hits all of my geek-buttons: hardware, heroes, grime, insane monsters.”

Rick Porras (“The Lord of the Rings” franchise) and Steven Boyd (“A Christmas Carol”) are already on board to produce. The project was initially purchased as a spec screenplay by Andrew Hilton.

No word on whether or not this will clash with Norrington’s other in-development project, a remake of THE CROW. Hopefully, that one will just die and not be resurrected. (You can read out last update on it HERE.)
