The Road featurette

THE ROAD is, at long last, coming to theaters after over a year and a half of waiting. (You’ll recall that it was supposed to come out last Fall.) To celebrate the occasion (or at the very least, promote it), we’ve been slapping you silly with clips from the John Hilcoat film, which opens on NOVEMBER 25th. Now we’ve got a brand-new featurette, which runs a lengthy 11 minutes, so set aside some time to embark on this grim journey with the cast and crew.

Keep an eye out for The Arrow’s review of the film, which should hit the site very soon. I have seen the flick myself, and I will say that, while not quite an unforgettable experience, it’s a pretty solid piece of filmmaking – and very well-acted up and down.

THE ROAD stars Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Robert Duvall, Guy Pearce, Molly Parker, and Garret Dillahunt.
