So who is THE KEEPER? You know him. The scowl. The menacing whisper. The black boots. The ponytail. That’s right folks, Steven Seagal is the mothafu*kin’ KEEPER, and in his next movie he’s looking to use a whole squad of mobsters as his personal punching bag.

Hitting DVD on January 19, 2010 – In the vein of THE PROFESSIONAL and MAN ON FIRE, THE KEEPER sees Steven Seagal play an LA cop who after nearly being killed by his greedy partner, flees to New Mexico to work as a bodyguard for the daughter of a wealthy businessman. When mobsters kidnap her, he hunts them down to rescue her and protect her.

Ah yeah, that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

While certainly not a horror film proper, THE KEEPER is described as a fast-paced thriller about an ex-cop caught in a web of deceit, racsim and murder. Besides, with co-writing credit going to Seagal himself, how could we omit this baby?

Director Keoni Waxman (THE SUSPECT, A DANGEROUS MAN) surrounds Seagal with as many hotties as he deserves, including Jessica Williams, Liezl Carstens, Alexandria Morrow (seen below), Kisha Sierra, Seri DeYoung, Alessandra Hayden, Trine Christensen, and Therese Olson. As far as male victims go, Seagal looks to make bloody pulp out Luce Rains, Aaron Shiver, Brian Keith Gamble, Gilley Grey, Steph DuVall and you know about 100 others.

You can preorder the DVD as early as December 8th. Average retail price for the disc will run roughly $23.
