With the American Film Market wrapping up today (Nov. 11), all kinds of cool details are surfacing for under the radar horror flicks. And one is called APARTMENT 1303, an English language remake of the 2007 Japanese title (directed by Ataru Oikawa).
Receiving the once over by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Fridell (BLOODBROTHERS), from a script by Michele Taverna (MANAGUA), APARTMENT 1303 tells:
A modern ghost story which turns a love/hate relationship between mother and daughter into a tale of horror. Some rentals are too good to be true.
Alriiiiight! Good old tenement terror – if this shit resembles anything like THE SENTINEL or THE AMITYVILLE HORROR – we could a decent flick on our hands.
No casting or release details have been disseminated, but when they do, you’ll be the first in the know.
Enter APARTMENT 1303 sometime in 2010.
