Dollhouse foreclosed

For the apparent handful of you glued to Joss Whedon’s Sci-fi/action TV series “Dollhouse,” I’m afraid some bad news has come down the pike. After two seasons and consistently downward spiraling ratings, the show has been officially staked in the heart.

According to THR, word is no abrupt cancellations will be held however, and that the second season will run its course, with Whedon even giving the series a legitimate send off episode.

While I can’t personally lament the absence of the show (as I never clocked a single ep), I do send my condolences to those who will no longer find solace in leering at Eliza Dushku’s smokin’ frame. It’s a tough day for all of you, I’m sure.

For those curious, The show follows an organization that employs mind-wiped DNA-altered humans known as Dolls who are implanted with false memories and skills for various missions and tasks. When they are not ‘at work’ they are living in a real life Dollhouse which gives the show the name. One of those mind-wiped humans, a young woman named Echo, is slowly starting to become aware of herself and what’s going on – all the while somebody on the outside is trying to bring the Dollhouse down while getting closer to Echo – possibly not aware that she is one of the Dolls he is after.

From all of us here at AITH, we salute and send our profoundest RIPs to everyone involve in the show, in particular Dushku – who, not since the likes of Jennifer Garner in “Alias”, has a female TV star kicked more ass and looked as good doing it.
