Anyone out there still reeling in Halloween hangover? Need a hair of the dog that bit ya’? Well, look no further than a goddamn baby locked in a small cage for some unshakable disturbance. Because that’s exactly what we’ve got in the trailer for what looks to be James Rabbitts’ searing debut film THE CLINIC.

The Aussie filmmaker (Rabbitts, who also wrote) turns his first feature story:

Of expectant mother Beth Church, drugged and abducted from a desolate outback motel. The year is 1979, many years before the advent of DNA. Beth wakens in an ice bath in an abandoned abattoir. Her baby has been removed from her. After searching for a way out she is found by three other young women all in the same predicament. There is also one other young woman in the same predicament, Beth and the other three women soon discover that it is everyone for themselves as they find themselves in a deadly game of survival.

Beautiful! Don’t believe me, strap your eyes to the trailer below. Did I mention a baby being caged? Good lord!

THE CLINIC stars Tabrett Bethell, Freya Stafford, Andy Whitfield, Clare Bowen (seen below), Sophie Lowe, Boris Brkic, Marshall Napier and Adrienne Pickering.

Though U.S. release dates for the movie are unclear, THE CLINIC did screen two days ago at the American Film Market!
