Locked In trailer

Allow me to shed a tinge of my shallow(er?) side when I say there aren’t many women who get better looking with age. Sarandon instantly comes to mind, Jennifer Beals as well. And judging from in-the-flesh testimony (as I saw her two weeks ago at the 2009 Scream Awards), Eliza Dushku is definitely on the list!

So it comes with great alacrity to share with you a trailer for Dushku’s upcoming thriller LOCKED IN (formerly known as VALEDICTION). Co-written (with THE PASSENGERS’ Ronnie Christensen) and directed by Suri Krishnamma (THE TURNAROUND, BEING OTHELLO) – LOCKED IN sees:

A story which moves through the lives of two fragile yet determined people and maps a private geography of love, loss and ultimate redemption. Josh leaves his advertising career at its peak, everyone wants either to be him or to have him. Then he walks away from it all, the money, recognition and the life. A car accident will leave his daughter in a strange coma and when everyone has given up she starts communicating with him, or is he going mad?

Wow. Sounds decent!

With an unknown 2010 release, LOCKED IN also stars Ben Barnes, Sarah Roemer, Johnny Whitworth, Brenda Fricker, Abby & Helen Steinman, Nick Newell, Diego Arciniegas, and Bill Mootos.
