Tantamount to a 6 year old’s birthday bash giddiness, I nearly wet myself when learning I’d get to attend the 2009 Scream Awards. And now, given some of the names recently added to make appearances at the gala next weekend, I need a goddamn water-plug in my shorts pronto.

According to THR, Megan Fox, Quentin Tarantino, Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman will take part in this year’s celebration of all things macabre. The 4th annual event will take place at the renowned Greek Theater in L.A., and will be aired on Spike TV 10 days following (October 27th).

As we’ve noted before, fresh footage from NEW MOON will be unsheathed, as well as a farewell sendoff from the united Battle Star Galactica cast. Members of HBO hit “True Blood” will also be on hand to engage in the festivities.

Other guests set to get their party on include Liv Tyler, Sam Raimi, Elijah Wood and comic book marvel Stan Lee.
