After showing you the behind-the-scenes video blog from Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY yesterday (HERE), and a BTS pic of a flipped over car from Bousman’s Twitter page the day before that (HERE), it’s only natural for us to finally get a glimpse at the first Official Still from the flick today!
Above is the first real image from Twisted Pictures’ MOTHER’S DAY, and while it doesn’t look all dark and twisted, it does seem to feature Jaime King in victim mode, and a gun-toting Patrick Flueger in murder mode. Nice! And what’s best of all? It appears to be happening in broad daylight in suburbia. This is one home-invasion flick that is going to freak people out!
Alongside King and Flueger, MOTHER’S DAY stars Deborah Ann Woll, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Shawn Ashmore, Matt O’Leary, Lyriq Bent, Lisa Marcos, AJ Cook, J. LaRose, and Warren Kole, and goes a little something like this: three brothers on the run from the law head for home, only to discover that their mother lost the house in a foreclosure. Mother ingeniously orchestrates her sons’ escape, teaching the house’s new owners and their guests a few lessons along the way.
Sweet. And pretty timely too, considering the home foreclosure situation is on the rise these days. Enjoy the new pic above, and get ready for more MOTHER’S DAY madness in the next couple of weeks! MOTHER’S DAY will hit theaters spring 2010.
