Tara Reid and Cloris Leachman in the same damn picture? Good mother-effin’ grief!

Such is certainly the case in Tom Mattera and David Mazzoni (THE 4TH DIMENSION) new thriller THE FIELDS, currently filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Here’s the skinny:

THE FIELDS is A psychological thriller based on true events that took place in a small Pennsylvania town in 1973. It tells the story of a young boy and his family who are terrorized by an unseen presence lurking in the cornfields surrounding their farmhouse.

Sounds a decent premise, even if trampled to death. The flick is associate produced by horror mainstay Tommy Lee Wallace (HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH, IT), and written by ink-virgin Harrison Smith, whose only other (subsequent) credit comes via Dean Cundey’s 2009 drama DARKHORSE.

Well now, courtesy of the films official Facebook page, we have a glut of behind-the-scenes photos, set stills, as well as posters and profile pictures to pique our interest. View a few below or click HERE to check out the rest.

Still a ways off, THE FIELDS won’t seed until sometime in 2011. Stay tuned!
