A spy for the site Collider spotted a promo poster for the upcoming Greg Mottola sci-fi comedy PAUL on the Universal Studios lot, and was smart enough to snap a picture of it, making this our first real look at the flick.

I’m liking the trashiness of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost – and of course, Pegg’s EMPIRE STRIKES BACK shirt. The ladies in the pic are Blythe Danner and Kristen Wiig. The cast is packed though, featuring Sigourney Weaver, Jason Bateman, Bill Hader, David Koechner, Jeffrey Tambor, and Seth Rogen as the voice of “Paul”.

The story revolves around two British slackers who, after visiting Comic-Con, go on a road trip to Area 51, where they encounter a small alien named Paul, who enlists them to help him find his way home.

PAUL doesn’t have a set release date yet, but hopefully we’ll find out soon when to expect the Pegg/Frost magic.
