Talk about warding all kinds of hats, first time writer/director Josh Vargas also produced, shot, edited, and composed his feature debut SWAY.
Done more so as a result of a falling out with crew members than any kind of dictatorial power, Vargas turned to long time friends Ben Dugley and Greg Hilligeist to lock finally lock the picture.
Said to be inspired by the work of David Lynch and Kenneth Anger, SWAY finds its plotline:
When 2 do-it-for-cash degenerates are hired to kidnap a young man visiting his family, things go from bad to a hell of a lot worse when, not only do they find out that there are others who have there sights set on the same young man for much more depraved purposes, but the young man himself has a few skeletons of his own, which could prove to be dangerous to anyone who crosses his path.
With no release date on the brink, SWAY stars Travis Ammons, Mel House, Jayson Champion, Melanie Donihoo, Heather Westwood , Bobby Haworth, Ben Dugley, Bill Ross and Pip O’Sullivan.
All I know is if Heather Westwood (seen below) is featured prominently, my decision to see the flick won’t need to SWAY that much. Ooh, see what I did there?!? Pure skill!
Take a peek at the harrowing clip underneath!
