Excl: Corn TV series?

I recently had occasion to chat with actor Daniel Newman, who plays “Malachai” in the upcoming remake of CHILDREN OF THE CORN, and while the entire interview is coming soon, I can give you a tantalizing taste.

At one point, I ask Newman what he thinks of the recent revelation that Dimension Films is prepping yet another remake of CHILDREN OF THE CORN, even hiring Ehren Kruger to pen the screenplay. This was news to Daniel, but he did offer this up: “All I know is, there’s talk of them trying to make it into a series, which actually could be incredible. But I don’t know about another film.”
