Darren Bousman has announced yet another cast member for his MOTHER’S DAY remake, this one not being quite so earth-shattering. Via Bousman’s Twitter page comes the news that J. LaRose has joined the already large ensemble, which began shooting today in Winnepeg.

Who is J. LaRose? He’s been in SAW III (pictured above), IV, and REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA, as well as a few of Bousman’s short films and his “Fear Itself” episode. So the two are chummy, obviously. No word on who LaRose might be playing in the flick, but he joins a massive cast that already includes Rebeca DeMornay, Briana Evigan, Jamie King, Shawn Ashmore, Matt O’Leary, Patrick Flueger, and Alexa Vega.

MOTHER’S DAY has an unspecified 2010 release date… For more Bousman talk, check out our exclusive chat with him on the Blood, Bullets, and Broads Podcast!
