Red Sonja update

So it’s been a long while since we’ve heard anything about RED SONJA, which was to come at us from producer Robert Rodriguez and director Douglas Aarniokoski (HIGHLANDER: END GAME). In fact, with everything else Rodriguez has going on at the moment, it looked as though the project was pretty much dead.

Well, according to Rose McGowan, the flick is still moving forward. On her Twitter page (soon all news will come via Twitter), Rose says that it has just been delayed for a year: To clarify press reports: Red Sonja is delayed. I pulled out of doing it in ’09. Not permanently.Hopefully will follow Conan. She then adds: I am still contracted to do it Red Sonja. Hopefully Filming in ’10 not ’09
