Don’t you stay up late sometimes, restless and depressed, wondering “When – WHEN – the f*ck is somebody going to get up off their ass and make a movie about a mutant hybrid of chihuahua and piranha monsters that attack a lakeside?” Well, lucky for you, there shall be no more sleepless nights worrying about such things, because somebody actually did get up off their ass do make that very movie!
It’s called, naturally, CHIHUAHUAS, and I’m just stunned that I’m even writing about it. Stunned… and delighted. Above you can see the promo poster for the film, which is apparently still in production. Don’t fret – I’m sure we’ll be seeing it on SyFy as soon as it’s ready to go.
So what’s this thing really about?
A school/pack of vicious, cross-bred Chihuahua and Piranha are unleashed upon a pristine Mtn Lake and quickly consume summer campers before a team of misfits, led by the lake’s ranger, evade and destroy the evil little critters.
Brilliant. Amazing. Arousing… What else can I say? Keep an eye out for more news on CHIHUAHUAS… hopefully there will be lots of it, and soon. Check out some concept art below, which is from the Official Site.
