H2 gets a hard R

Okay so it’s not much of a shock that HALLOWEEN II will be rated R. But still, it’s something: Rob Zombie just let loose the news on his Twitter page, telling us that the flick gets the hard R for “strong brutal bloody violence throughout, terror, disturbing graphic images, language, some crude sexual content and nudity.”

Again, no surprise. It wouldn’t be a Rob Zombie film without gratuitous violence, gratuitous bad language, gratuitous nudity, and just plain gratuitous nastiness. So why am I still not excited about this flick? There’s some bad buzz building, folks. Of course, I’ll wait until I see for myself, but I’m really not surprised to hear that it’s… less than terrific.

The film comes out on AUGUST 28th.
