Michael Myers speaks?!

Now here’s a development I didn’t see coming. Anyone who knows film lingo knows that ADR stands for Additional Dialogue Recording or Automated Dialogue Replacement – essentially it’s a process in post-production that allows actors to re-record dialogue that wasn’t properly picked up on the set. Happens on every film, nothing to get excited about…

But how about when it’s Michael Myers who needs his dialogue re-recorded? That’s the implication made by Rob Zombie earlier today; on his Twitter Page, Zombie wrote: “Off to meet Tyler for some Michael Myers ADR. Sleeping some day would be great.”

That’s pretty huge, eh? Now of course, this could just mean some general grunting. Or it could mean that Zombie has taken his reimagining to extreme (some would say forbidden) places.

Early rumors suggest that the particular line in need of re-recording is “Haddonfield, y’all ain’t ready for this right here.” Confirmation to come soon, hopefully.
