The folks over at Auilldos got their hands on an early piece of art for the Spanish possession thriller EXORCISMUS, which is scheduled for a 2010 release. The flick comes to us from Filmax, which also has [REC]2 in the pipeline. This one seems like it has a similar angle, in that it deals with a family whose 15 year old daughter is possessed by demons. When a priest comes to investigate, the family videotapes the sessions between he and the haunted girl… So basically, [REC] meets THE EXORCIST. Hey, I can dig that! (As long as it’s not [REC] meets THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT.)

Directing is Luis de la Madrid, a longtime editor who has worked on films like THE MACHINIST and THE DEVIL’S BACKBONE. No cast has been announced yet, but expect to hear more about this flick soon as it moves forward.
