GRACE has been gathering a stupendous amount of buzz for the last couple months, ever since it played like gangbusters at the Sundance Film Festival. I must say it looks like a disturbing f*cking ride – but I get that from any flick featuring a freaky baby. Like BABY’S DAY OUT? Holy shit, I punched every infant I encountered for weeks after seeing that.
The baby in GRACE is of a different variety, however, and if you want to see what it – and its momma – are up to, then peep the official red-band trailer below. If you can’t handle it, just be content with the synopsis, ya big baby: Grace is a feature-length emotional and psychological journey into terror as a young woman is forced to make the ultimate motherly sacrifice when the stillborn child she carried to term returns to life with a horrifying appetite.
GRACE was directed by Paul Solet, produced by Adam Green (HATCHET) and stars Jordan Ladd of CABIN FEVER and GRINDHOUSE fame.
