Eliza on Valediction

I’m an Eliza Dushku fan, so I’m glad to see the gal keeping busy – even if her career choices are sometimes… less than stellar. She’s in a new flick called VALEDICTION, dubbed a “contemporary psychological thriller”; co-starring alongside Ben Barnes, Sarah Roemer, and Dennis Haysbert.

Eliza spoke briefly about the plot with MTV: “It’s about this young couple and they have a 6-year-old daughter, seemingly in a coma, but [they learn] she’s actually alive and fully living out in her brain, but is just in this locked-in state,” Eliza explains. “So he’s trying to have his daughter wake up from this traumatic experience.”

Eliza plays a former flame of the husband, who reappears in his life right around the same time as this tragedy.

Let’s get real here. This movie doesn’t sound all that interesting. It’s barely even a “thriller”. The only reason I’m writing about it is so I’d have an excuse to search through tons of Eliza Dushku pictures to slap on this article. Are these the best ones out there? Maybe not, but I felt a tingle in my boxers when I saw these, so that’s good enough for me.
