Monster musical coming

Here’s a story I don’t know what to make of. It sounds kinda terrible at first, but for whatever reason, I’m intrigued. Maybe it’s the mysterious nature of it…

Variety reports that Universal Pictures and toy manufacturer Mattel are teaming up to bring a live-action “monster musical” to the big screen. The flick will be the brain child of producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (CHICAGO) and Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, composers of HAIRSPRAY.
