It’s that time again – Rob Zombie has updated his Myspace blog, this time with something a little juicy. As you can see, Michael Myers is getting into the Halloween spirit at a hospital, getting some good distance between him and a smiley-face jack-o-lantern he’s carving… This is only a prelude to the yummy pumpkin-seed baking he’s planning for later in the evening.
In addition to adding the new photo, Zombie also answers this question on his blog: Is this movie a remake of Halloween 2?
The answer is no. This movie has nothing to do with the movie that came out back in 1981. The only thing slightly the same is my film has a brief hospital scene at the top of the film and even that is 100% different. These are all new characters and all new situations. This is not a remake of a sequel, this is the continuing story of the Halloween I started. So hopefully that clears up that confusion.
As you may or may not have heard, H2 will be hitting theaters on AUGUST 28th.
