Even though it sounds like a completely ridiculous “adaptation” of Edgar Allen Poe’s legendary TELL-TALE HEART, Michael Cuesta’s TELL-TALE has put together a decent enough cast to warrant some benefit of the doubt. We knew that Josh Lucas, Brian Cox, and the impossibly sexy Lena Headey were toplining the group, but now we know who is supporting these fine thesps.
IMDB says Ulrich Thomsen (HITMAN), Pablo Schreiber (THE WIRE), Dallas Roberts (3:10 TO YUMA), and Jamie Harrold (THE LAST WINTER) are all part of the flick, which is filming in Rhode Island, from a script by Dave Callaham (DOOM).
TELL TALE‘s plot is as follows: A man’s newly transplanted heart leads him on a dangerous journey to find out who murdered its donor.
Hmm, the only connection to Poe’s tale is… um… there’s a heart that figures tenuously in the story? Guess that’ll do… Expect TELL-TALE to hit sometime in ’09.
