Daybreakers casts a lady

The Spierig Bros’ vampire movie DAYBREAKERS has been racking up the fleshbags recently, with Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill, and Willem Dafoe all having joined the epic bloodsuckers-take-over-the-earth flick. Finally, a pretty face has joined the crew (no offense fellas).

Australian actress Claudia Karvan will be playing Hawke’s gal pal, reports Moviehole. Karvan is well-known to the Aussie set, but not so much here in the States, although sci-fi geeks might recognize her from a small stint on FARSCAPE and as “Sola Naberrie” in STAR WARS III: REVENGE OF THE SITH (anyone know who the hell Sola Naberrie is??)
