Director Scott Goldberg hit us up with news that his film, UNITED WE SLEEP, has wrapped production, and is headed into post. The film, which stars Robert Youngren (THE FOREST HILLS), Kristen Spaeth and Zack Junge, takes a trip on the CONSPIRACY THEORY highway and delves into a very real-life situation. Well, not real real, but it could happen.
The film focuses on a chemical terrorist attack that a family has to deal with in order to survive and the search from truth through the news media. Goldberg, whose page for the film on MySpace is up the wazoo with conspiracy theorists, elaborates. “What if the news you hear on the radio and television are all lies and the government is pointing fingers at others for their own greed and profiteering? You have an enormous amount of war and fear-mongering in today’s society and that is more terrifying than any zombie film out there because it’s real life horror.”
