Insert APOCALYPSE NOW reference here.

Once again, the official GHOST RIDER blog (see it here) has posted a new video, this time on how the production accomplished the fire effects in the film. As a 3D animator and modeler, it can be tough at times (especially in this instance) to create realistic looking fire.

And while I’m not exactly cut out for rendering fire/smoke/water (I’ll stick with creature modeling, thank you), I’ll give it to Johnson and company for trying their darndest to get that flamin’ head looking good.

GHOST RIDER blazes into theatres in a couple of weeks, so hop aboard the hype train if you must.
